    This guide was written for families and friends of the elderly and teaches them a little about normal age changes and the effects of chronic illness in the elderly. It also gives information on buying gifts that help the elderly cope with these changes. Hundreds of gift suggestions are in the book and the chapters also include gifts for the homebound, nursing home residents, people with Alzheimer's disease, the terminally ill and even the caregivers.
