This guide was written for families and friends of the elderly and teaches them a little about normal age changes and the effects of chronic illness in the elderly. It also gives information on buying gifts that help the elderly cope with these changes. Hundreds of gift suggestions are in the book and the chapters also include gifts for the homebound, nursing home residents, people with Alzheimer's disease, the terminally ill and even the caregivers.

Need help figuring out how to design something for a senior or disabled person -- a utensil, an aide of some kind? Contact TETRA who may be able to help you out. They are a wonderful, caring group of professionals -- engineers, etc. -- who want to help others. Tell them Caregiver Network sent you!
